This Privacy Policy explains how Daleely, Inc. ("Daleely," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information through the Daleely websites, mobile applications, and related services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services"). It also describes the privacy choices and rights available to you. This Policy serves as our notice at collection for California residents.
This Privacy Policy applies to users, visitors, business representatives, event organizers, mosque representatives, donors, ticket purchasers, subscribers, and other people who interact with the Services. It does not apply to a third party's own websites, applications, or services, even if they are accessible through Daleely.
The information we collect depends on how you use the Services and which features are available to you.
Account and profile information. This may include your name, display name, email address, mobile telephone number, profile image, language and notification preferences, account role, saved settings, and information used to confirm age eligibility. We maintain protected authentication credentials or tokens and security records. If you use Apple, Google, or another supported sign-in provider, we receive information authorized by you and that provider, such as an account identifier, name, or email address. We do not receive your password for that third-party service.
Organization and representative information. If you apply for, claim, administer, or interact on behalf of a business, mosque, event organizer, or other organization, we may collect your title, affiliation, authority to act, contact details, application responses, verification materials, subscription details, and identifiers associated with Stripe or another payment provider. We may ask for documents reasonably necessary to verify identity, ownership, authority, charitable or tax-exempt status, or legal compliance.
Listings and submissions. We collect information you submit for businesses, mosques, events, programs, menus, services, ticket offers, donation campaigns, images, videos, descriptions, operating hours, addresses, accessibility details, certifications, halal-related statements, and other content. Some of this information is intended to be public.
Reviews and community content. We collect ratings, reviews, photographs, comments, reports, replies, and other user-generated content, as well as information about edits, moderation, and abuse reports.
Support and communications. We collect messages, attachments, survey responses, feedback, and other information you provide when contacting us or communicating through the Services.
We collect searches, filters, viewed pages and listings, clicks, saved items, followed mosques, event interactions, ticket or donation activity, notification preferences, and similar usage information. Saved items and mosque follows are private by default. If Daleely provides an organization with audience insights, those insights will be aggregated or otherwise designed not to reveal which individual users saved or followed an organization, unless the user specifically directs a disclosure.
If you enable device-location access, Daleely may collect precise foreground location to show nearby businesses, mosques, events, or other location-relevant results. Daleely does not collect background location to create a movement history. You can decline device-location access and enter a city, ZIP code, address, or other search area manually. Daleely may also derive an approximate location from an IP address for security, localization, or general service functionality.
When you use telephone verification, Daleely and its communications providers may process your telephone number, country code, verification request, one-time passcode status, delivery status, carrier or channel information, fraud signals, and records showing the consent language displayed, the action taken, and the time of that action. Verification codes are used for authentication and security. Consent to receive a one-time passcode is not consent to receive recurring promotional messages.
If Daleely later offers recurring text marketing, informational text subscriptions, or WhatsApp messaging, Daleely will present a separate, channel-specific opt-in before sending those messages where consent is required. This Policy does not itself create that consent.
We collect transaction details such as selected plan, price, discount or promotion, billing interval, renewal and cancellation status, records of your consent to automatic-renewal terms, ticket details, attendee information, donation amount and beneficiary, currency, timestamps, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, tax information where required, and payment-provider identifiers. Stripe or another payment provider processes your payment credentials. Daleely generally receives limited payment information, such as card brand, last four digits, expiration month and year, billing country, payment status, and provider tokens. Daleely does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
We and our service providers may automatically collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, device or installation identifiers, language, time zone, referring and exit pages, pages or screens viewed, timestamps, crash data, performance data, network information, cookie or similar identifiers, and security and audit logs.
We may use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand feature use, diagnose errors, secure the Services, and improve performance. Daleely does not permit advertising networks to use Daleely activity for cross-context behavioral advertising under the current Services configuration.
We may receive information from:
If you provide personal information about another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by law.
Depending on your use of the Services, Daleely may process information treated as sensitive under some laws, including account credentials, precise location, financial transaction information, government or verification documents, and information that could reveal an association with a mosque or Muslim-community service.
Daleely uses sensitive personal information only for reasonably necessary service, security, legal, verification, transaction, and user-requested purposes. Daleely does not use mosque follows, location, or community participation to infer religious beliefs for advertising, does not sell sensitive personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where a state privacy law requires opt-in consent to process sensitive personal information for a purpose beyond those permitted by law, Daleely will obtain that consent before the processing.
We may use personal information to:
Daleely collects, uses, and retains personal information only as reasonably necessary and proportionate to the purposes described in this Policy. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Daleely relies on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, or consent, depending on the context.
We may disclose personal information as follows.
Content you choose to publish, such as profile display information, reviews, photographs, business information, mosque information, events, organizer information, and public replies, may be visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. We also disclose information when you direct us to do so, such as when you purchase a ticket, make a donation, contact an organizer, or share content.
We may provide a relevant organization with information needed to fulfill a transaction or user request, administer admission, respond to an inquiry, manage a donation, prevent fraud, or comply with law. For example, an event organizer may receive a ticket holder's name, contact information, ticket type, and purchase status. A donation recipient may receive donor and transaction information needed for acknowledgment, accounting, compliance, or donor-requested recognition; before you complete a donation, we will tell you whether and what information will be shared with the recipient. Those organizations may act as independent controllers or businesses for their own processing and are responsible for their own privacy practices.
We disclose information to vendors that process it on Daleely's behalf or provide operational services, such as hosting, databases, cloud infrastructure, authentication, analytics, communications, email, customer support, mapping, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, identity verification, document review, and error monitoring. Depending on enabled features, these providers may include Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Twilio, Apple, Google, Resend, Sentry, and functionally similar replacements. The actual provider set may change as the Services evolve. We require service providers to use personal information only to provide services to Daleely and to protect it appropriately.
If Daleely uses an artificial-intelligence provider for an enabled service or internal support function, Daleely will apply contractual and technical controls appropriate to the use, will minimize direct identifiers and precise location where reasonably possible, and will not intentionally submit user personal information for public model training unless Daleely first provides appropriate notice and obtains any required consent.
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful requests, including from charity, tax, or consumer-protection regulators; enforce our agreements; collect amounts owed; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; protect rights, property, safety, or platform integrity; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may share information with law enforcement, regulators, courts, professional advisers, insurers, and counterparties as appropriate.
We may disclose information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of assets, or similar transaction. A recipient may use personal information only in a manner consistent with this Policy unless it provides any legally required notice and choice.
We may disclose information for another purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.
Daleely does not sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by California law. Daleely has not sold or shared personal information for those purposes during the preceding 12 months. Daleely does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Daleely may display contextual sponsorships based on the page, search, city, category, or content being viewed, without tracking a person across unrelated businesses. Daleely may also disclose information to service providers and other parties for the operational purposes described above; those disclosures are not sales or sharing under applicable law.
If Daleely ever changes these practices, Daleely will update this Policy, provide any legally required "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism, honor applicable opt-out preference signals, and obtain opt-in consent where required before applying the change to minors or to previously collected information.
Daleely and its providers may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in, security, preferences, transactions, performance, and privacy-conscious analytics. Where required by law, Daleely will provide a cookie or consent control before using nonessential technologies.
Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not governed by a uniform industry standard, and Daleely does not respond to legacy Do Not Track signals unless required by law. Daleely will treat a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control, as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information if Daleely ever engages in covered activity.
You can adjust browser or device controls to limit cookies and similar technologies, but blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working.
One-time passcodes. If you request telephone verification, Daleely or its provider may send an automated verification message. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive an OTP is not consent to receive marketing. Reply STOP (or a similar word) to an SMS to stop messages from that sending program and HELP for help, or contact support@daleely.app; you may also revoke consent by any other reasonable method that clearly expresses your request, and Daleely will honor a revocation within the time required by law. Stopping OTP messages may prevent telephone verification. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies based on your authentication activity.
Email. Daleely may send transactional and service email. If you separately opt in to marketing email, you may unsubscribe using the link in each message. Even after unsubscribing from marketing, Daleely may send nonmarketing communications about your account, security, transactions, legal notices, or requested services.
Push notifications. You can manage push notifications through the app or your device settings. Certain essential notices may still appear within the Services.
WhatsApp and recurring texts. Daleely does not use OTP consent to enroll users in recurring WhatsApp or SMS programs. If such a program is launched, the signup disclosure will state the sender, purpose, expected frequency, that messages may be automated, applicable rates, opt-out and help instructions, and links to the applicable terms and privacy information. Consent will be optional and will not be a condition of purchase unless legally permissible and clearly disclosed.
You can allow or deny location permission through your device settings at any time. You may use manual location search instead. If permission is revoked, some nearby-results features may be less useful, but core browsing remains available. Daleely does not ask users to grant background location for the current Services.
Daleely keeps personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement. Retention may vary by record type and applicable law. Daleely's intended operational schedule is:
Daleely may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for an active dispute, investigation, legal hold, safety issue, unpaid balance, fraud prevention, or applicable legal requirement. Daleely may retain deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual and will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.
Daleely uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the risks involved. Measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, protected authentication, logging, vendor diligence, data minimization, backups, and incident-response procedures. If a security incident affecting your personal information triggers a legal notification requirement, Daleely will notify you and regulators as required by applicable law. No system is completely secure, and Daleely cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. Protect your credentials and contact us promptly if you suspect misuse of your account.
Subject to verification and applicable exceptions, Daleely offers users the ability to request:
Residents of a state with a comprehensive privacy law (including, depending on your state, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia) may also have rights to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request. Daleely does not currently sell personal information, engage in targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, or make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects through covered profiling.
Submit a request through the privacy-request feature at https://daleely.app when available or by emailing privacy@daleely.app. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the account or email address involved. Daleely may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. Daleely will use verification information only for verification, security, fraud prevention, and compliance.
An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. Daleely may require a signed authorization and may verify your identity directly unless an exception applies. Parents or guardians may submit requests concerning their child where legally authorized.
Daleely will respond within the period required by applicable law and may extend that period when the law permits. If Daleely denies a request, Daleely will explain the basis to the extent required. If your state's law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to the decision or emailing privacy@daleely.app with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line; if your appeal is denied, Daleely will provide any legally required method for contacting your state attorney general. Daleely will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, though deleting information may make an account or feature unavailable.
Requests may be limited or denied where an exception applies, including when Daleely cannot verify the request, must retain information for security or legal compliance, needs the information to complete a transaction or provide a requested service, or where the request would adversely affect the rights of another person.
This section supplements the rest of this Policy for California residents. Whether the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"), applies to Daleely depends on statutory thresholds and exemptions. Daleely provides the disclosures and request methods below as a prudent baseline and will honor CCPA rights whenever the law applies.
In the preceding 12 months, Daleely has collected or may have collected the following categories of personal information described in the CCPA: identifiers; customer-record information; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity; geolocation data; audio, electronic, visual, or similar information; professional or employment-related information; inferences limited to service preferences or integrity functions; and sensitive personal information as described in Section 3. Daleely collects these categories from the sources described in Section 2, uses them for the purposes described in Section 4, discloses them to the categories of recipients described in Section 5, and retains them as described in Section 10.
Daleely does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger the right to limit under the current CCPA regulations. Daleely does not offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information. If Daleely launches a loyalty, referral, or promotional program that constitutes a financial incentive, Daleely will provide a separate notice describing its material terms and value calculation before enrollment.
California residents may exercise applicable CCPA rights using the methods described in Section 12. California's "Shine the Light" law may allow certain residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those parties' own direct-marketing purposes; Daleely does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing without an appropriate choice. Questions may be sent to privacy@daleely.app.
Accounts and all transactional features of the Services require users to be at least 18 years old. The Services are not directed to children, and Daleely does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, including children under 13 as protected by the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, or that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Services, contact privacy@daleely.app so Daleely can investigate, delete the information, and close the account as appropriate. Daleely does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors and does not use a minor's personal information for targeted advertising.
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, maps, social networks, payment services, organizers, businesses, mosques, and other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Policy. Daleely is not responsible for their independent processing. Review their policies before providing information to them.
Daleely's commercial Services are intended for users in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Daleely or its providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those in your location. If Daleely intentionally expands the Services to another country, Daleely will implement any additional notices, legal bases, transfer safeguards, representatives, or consent mechanisms required before launch.
Daleely may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, features, or practices. Daleely will post the updated Policy and revise the Effective Date, and will indicate the date of the last update. If a change materially affects your privacy rights or how Daleely uses previously collected personal information, Daleely will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy, but does not replace consent where the law requires consent.
